Probearing spherical bearing cups are precision-machined from 4130 chromoly steel for maximum strength and durability. Each cup features chamfered snap ring grooves to prevent scarring during installation. We hold a tight ±.0002" tolerance on the cup bore to ensure a true press fit even after welding when used with our brass spherical bearing slug. The brass slug absorbs heat and helps maintain bore integrity, preventing distortion throughout the welding process. Probearing high-misalignment spacers are CNC-machined from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel and engineered to deliver maximum articulation without compromising strength.

What's included?

Which kit do I need?
Pick by uniball size, bolt size and mounting width: 1" kits for 1/2", 9/16", 5/8" or 3/4" bolts at 3" width, or the 1-1/2" kit for a 3/4" bolt at 3.575" width. See the table for misalignment.
Does the uniball need grease?
No. The PTFE liner is self-lubricating — don't pack it with grease. Grease holds dirt and can shorten liner life.
Any welding tips?
Use a brass spherical bearing slug in the cup while you weld. It absorbs heat and keeps the bore true, so the bearing still presses in correctly after welding. Press the bearing in after the cup cools.
What is the warranty?
One year from purchase against defects in material and workmanship, for the original purchaser. Probearing will repair or replace at its discretion. To claim, email or call with proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover installation or labor, misuse, improper installation, or normal wear.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of receiving it, in the original package and condition, if it is not installed or damaged and was bought directly from Probearing. A 3% processing fee applies. Shipped orders also have a 7% restocking fee, and neither return shipping nor the original shipping cost is refunded. Custom products are non-refundable.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Most orders ship via UPS or USPS. International buyers pay import taxes and fees. Orders over $500 need a signature. For bulk or freight orders, contact sales@probearing.com for a quote.
